Tout au long de mon ministère, Dieu m'a béni de bien des façons. J'ai beaucoup de foi en Lui. Je prie et je jeûne beaucoup pour Lui demander de me remplir de Son pouvoir de sauver et de restaurer autant d'âmes que possible, car chaque âme a une grande importance devant Dieu. Il m'a utilisé de nombreuses façons pour réaliser de nombreux miracles et merveilles, et pour restaurer de nombreux cœurs brisés. J'ai imposé les mains à de nombreuses personnes, et elles ont été guéries et délivrées de maladies, et j'ai aussi chassé beaucoup de démons par le biais du Saint-Esprit. Il fut un temps où mon neveu était très malade et avait le souffle coupé. Il gargouillait et faisait la transition pour décéder. Mon frère et son fiancé étaient désespérés et ne savaient pas quoi faire. Ce jour-là, j'étais dans mon lit en train de dormir. Ils sont venus me réveiller pour que je puisse poser les mains sur l'enfant, qui allait prendre son dernier souffle. À l'époque, mon neveu avait environ un an. Quand je suis arrivé, j'ai vu que l'enfant criait à la mort. J'ai posé les mains sur lui et j'ai prié pour lui pendant un certain temps. Cette nuit-là, j'ai senti que je me battais avec les sorciers (vaudou) qui avaient jeté un sort à l'enfant. J'ai jeté les sorts, et Dieu nous a donné la victoire alors que l'enfant était sauvé de la mort et guéri de tous les sorts qu'il avait subis. Une autre nuit, un autre enfant s'est mis à pleurer et pendant un certain temps, elle a continué à pleurer sans s'arrêter. Elle était sous le charme des vaudous. Quand ils m'ont appelé à venir prier pour l'enfant, j'ai posé mes mains sur elle. J'ai commencé à prier pendant beaucoup de temps. J'ai ouvert la Bible et j'ai lu les Psaumes 23 et 91. Ensuite, j'ai continué à prier, et par la grâce de Dieu, elle a cessé de pleurer, et je me suis allée coucher. Pendant sur mon lit, j'ai senti les esprits démoniaques entrer pour me combattre. Je sentais ses puissantes forces ; ils sont venus me combattre dans mon sommeil. Je me suis vite réveillé, je m’étais à genoux et commençais à prier. J'ai été chassé ses démons et tous les autres mauvais esprits, et Dieu m'a donné la victoire. C’était comme les soixante-dix qui étaient revenus avec joie disant : Seigneur, les démons mêmes nous sont soumis en ton nom. Jésus leur dit : Je voyais Satan tomber du ciel comme un éclair. Voici, je vous ai donné le pouvoir de marcher sur les serpents et les scorpions, et sur toute la puissance de l’ennemi ; et rien ne pourra vous nuire. (Luc 10 :17-19). Mais leurs histoires sont toutes façonnées par la foi en Dieu et le renouveau qu'il offre. Voici l'histoire de Lisa F., une de mes camarades de classe, originaire de la Jamaïque. Elle est arrivée aux États-Unis et s'est installée pour devenir citoyenne américaine. Selon son témoignage, elle a rencontré son mari alors qu'ils étaient tous les deux très jeunes. Ils sont tombés amoureux, se sont mariés et ont maintenant un enfant ensemble. Lisa est venue aux États-Unis en laissant son mari derrière elle. Elle retournait de temps en temps chez eux à l'étranger en Jamaïque pour aller vivre avec son mari. Quand je l'ai rencontrée aux États-Unis, Lisa s'est sentie stressée et inquiète chaque jour. Elle avait des problèmes avec son mari depuis longtemps. Elle avait le sentiment que son mari ne l'aimait pas et ne se souciait pas d'elle de la même manière qu'avant. Elle avait l'impression que son mari la trompait. Lisa a porté cette douleur pendant de nombreuses années, et cela a eu des conséquences néfastes sur elle. Elle pleurait sans cesse. Elle a dit qu'elle essayait tellement d'améliorer les choses, mais elle croyait que son mari ne s'en souciait plus ou même essayait du tout. Lisa a dit que son cœur devenait froid et dur, comme une pierre. Elle sentit que l'amour entre eux était mort. J'ai adopté de nombreuses approches pour encourager Lisa à suivre une thérapie. Je l'ai interrogée pour qu'elle comprenne et lui ai expliqué la Parole de Dieu sur le mariage. J'ai ouvert la Bible et lu quelques passages concernant ce que Dieu veut pour chaque couple: La Bible dit dans Hébreux 13: "Le mariage est honorable en tous, et le lit sans tache: mais les prostitués et les adultères Dieu jugera." Je lui ai dit que Dieu a créé l'humanité à son image; homme et femme, il les a créés. Dieu les bénit et leur dit: «Soyez féconds et augmentez en nombre; remplissez la terre et soumettez-la. Règle sur les poissons dans la mer et les oiseaux dans le ciel et sur toute créature vivante qui se déplace sur le sol »(Gen. 1: 27-28). Pour Lisa, j'ai cité Matthieu 19: 4-6: «Et il répondit et leur dit: 'N'avez-vous pas lu que celui qui les a faits au commencement' les a fait hommes et femmes ',' 5 et a dit: 'Pour cette raison un homme quittera son père et sa mère et s'attachera à sa femme, et les deux deviendront une seule chair »? 6 Ainsi donc, ils ne sont plus deux mais une seule chair. Par conséquent, ce que Dieu a uni, que l'homme ne se sépare pas. C'est quelque chose que nous avons fait à chaque fois que nous nous sommes rencontrés. Nous avons ouvert la Bible, lu quelques passages et j'ai conseillé Lisa concernant le dessein et le plan de Dieu pour le mariage; en lui disant que la bonne nouvelle est que Dieu a le pouvoir de changer complètement les choses. Je lui ai dit que notre Dieu est un Dieu de restauration, un Dieu de miracles et un restaurateur des affligés. Il peut faire bouger les choses et tout renouveler. Lisa a appris que Dieu offre des assurances dans la Bible: «Heureux ceux qui pleurent, car ils seront consolés» (Matthieu 5: 4). J'ai aidé Lisa à comprendre que Dieu est la source ultime des opérations et de la puissance de résurrection, et que notre grand Dieu peut ressusciter l'affection et l'amour à nouveau - même s'il meurt depuis des années. En effet, Il est un Dieu qui peut restaurer le cœur brisé et adoucir le cœur de votre conjoint envers vous. J'ai conseillé à Lisa qu'elle n'avait qu'à croire, parce que: «Or, la foi est la substance des choses espérées, la preuve des choses que l'on ne voit pas» (Hé 11: 1). Lisa a appris que Dieu peut redonner vie à son mariage. J'ai été un mentor pour elle, la conseillant ou la conseillant. Nous avons souvent prié ensemble jusqu'à ce que Dieu apporte une solution à son mariage brisé. Je veux que tout le monde sache que la situation de Lisa pourrait être la situation de n'importe qui, peut-être d'une manière différente.
